About Keio.
Keio is international human rights lawyer and and qualified barrister in England and Wales and the Republic of Ireland. Keio´s most recent book is Pride and Prejudices (Scribe, 2025). In 2025 Keio was named one of Attitude Magazine´s 100 LGBTQ+ influential trailblazers.
Keio is the co-editor of Feminist Conversations on Peace, (BUP, 2022) and co-author with Jennifer Robinson of How Many More Women (Allen and Unwin, 2022), Silenced Women Octopus 2024) and has published academic articles about human rights law in the European Human Rights Law Review, International Affairs, Yale Journal of Law and Feminism and Human Rights Quarterly. Keio also has a number of book chapters in academic texts.
Keio sits on the international advisory board of the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice, Queen´s University Belfast and previously sat on the advisory board of the Center for Women, Peace and Security at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
